If the application is successful, applicants will be invited for an interview in person, by phone or on Skype. During and after the interview applicants may be asked to do further tasks. Individual interviews generally take 45 to 60 minutes and a group interview is likely to take around 15 minutes longer.
Please note that submitting an application form and completing an interview does not guarantee the applicant will have a place on any course.
Are you eligible? Cambridge states that you should:
be aged 18 or over,
have a standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into higher education,
have an awareness of language and a competence in both written and spoken English which will enable you to undertake the course and prepare for teaching a range of levels (the recommended candidate language level is CEFR C2 or high C1 – Grade A or B),
for the Blended course (CELTA ONLINE), check your computer has all the Technical requirements needed to run the course.
If the above two steps are completely successful, you may be offered a place on a recommended course. If you are not successful, we will give you some guidance to help to prepare for a future recommended course.
